Businesswoman Tess Pambuan branches out to Film Production

Madam Tess Pambuan who's a balikbayan from the United States of America prefers to stay in the Philippines for good. Not only because she is missing the Filipino culture, tradition and food but she wants to be with her family especially her son and her grand children.

To make herself busy, she started with franchising Bang Bang Bangus stationed in Arayat, Cubao. Even at the early stage of her business, a lot of celebrities have already patronized this special kind of Bangus in 5 flavors. Among them are Megastar Sharon Cuneta, actress Teresa Loyzaga and director Romm Burlat.

Speaking of Burlat, he was commissioned by Madam Tess to direct her first film production. Since she was young, this first time producer already wanted to be in showbiz. It was just cut short when they migrated to the U.S. of A. "Better late than never", Madam Tess quipped. "It is not only because it has been my long-time dream but I want my handsome and talented grandchildren to be in show business. It is not a big budget movie like mainstream movies but it is good enough to come up with a potential award-winning film and yes, a potential commercial success. I have strong faith in the multi-awarded director Romm Burlat to handle this project with award-winning actors Gina Pareno, Teresa Loyzaga and Ron Macapagal."

Madam Tess is positive about the movie, "Minsa'y Isang Alitaptap" which according to the director has been inspired by Hollywood film, All Mine To Give and Superstar Nora Aunor's Minsa'y Isang Gamu-gamo.

This Romm Burlat-film will start grinding on June 4, 2012. Minsa'y Isang Alitaptap also stars some theatre and seasoned actors and introduces the careers of talented kids Julian Tolentino, Chad Pambuan, Jaden Adams, Jacobb Pambuan with the support of Jash de Villa, Hasna Wahood, Jamaica Sabana and Robbie Diesta.
